BASTARD
2001

The show and action were my motifs to respond to the request of the Drama theatre to design a poster for the staging of the Bastard for free.
I read the play and I constructed the image without waiting to meet the director of the production.
Fortunately, Yavor and I turned out to be close friends and after a short wandering through the technological maze we passed on to implementation stage.
The choice of natural diffused light for the photographs was suitable for boarding, but not for material handling. The zero budget excluded the rent of a studio.
The working frame is one of the 36 frames shot by Garo Keshishiyan with fudjichrome velvia and 180 mm lens on mamya rb and one reflector on a 2001's early April afternoon of broken clouds.
