DIMITAR TRAYCHEV

I love jazz and I have been living with it for many years.

I bypassed certain things because of my ignorance and others I simply did not understand.

Until I had the chance of live perception.

The energy of improvisation, its tectonic, its dynamic
and attempt at group control over the episodic, these
are the principles that I still follow.

Jazz and also photography are nets
on which is projected the whole history of
the 20th century.

Jazz and also photography have long ago turned into academic disciplines and museum exhibits.

Jazz and also photography, now dead,
and thus convenient, are revived
as fashionable accessories.

All my favourite things
have happened.

And this is an attempt to gather the images of my sonic iconostasis.
